In 1959, R.D. Moseley, a cornerstone of South Carolina trucking, bought a truck with $950 out of a $1,000 loan, leaving him with $50 in working capital. R.D. began delivering loads throughout the state of South Carolina and Bulldog Hiway Express was born.
Over five decades later, Bulldog Hiway Express handles dedicated and for-hire, open-deck operations, intermodal port deliveries, and heavy hauls with loads up to 180,000 pounds. The company operates throughout the US and Canada with an emphasis on the automotive and energy sectors, including wind, solar, and nuclear power.
